OFS: How to top up your e-wallet

It takes seconds to top up your e-wallet for your whole family.

Our family e-wallet streamlines the task of arranging your children's daily lunch money, into a single online top-up - saving time and hassle.

Each family has a single e-wallet, shared by all parents and children. You can access this and manage it from the Terabite portal.

How to top up your e-wallet

  1. Look for the "Top up" button

    1. on mobile, open the menu by clicking the blue menu, then click "top up" next to your account balance.

    2. on computers and tablets, it is on the top menu bar.

  2. Select your top-up amount, or type in a custom amount.

  3. Select your payment method (PayNow or Credit Cards). See the next section for more information on using PayNow on mobile phones.

  4. Wait for your top-up to process. Do not close the window or turn off your device until the top-up is confirmed, or your transaction may not

Payment methods

We use industry-standard payment methods, ensuring maximum accessibility, while maintaining affordable transaction fees.

We recommend using PayNow for fast, free top ups.

IMPORTANT

When using PayNow, you must complete the transaction immediately. The QR code expires within a few minutes, and you will have to restart the payment process.

DO NOT quit or log out of Terabite during the process, as this will invalidate your payment. You may leave your browser to go to your bank app, but do not close the window fully.

If you scan the QR then abandon the top-up by quitting your browser or turning off your device, there is a possibility that the PayNow transaction will process, without the top-up being registered.

PayNow on mobile

  1. Select PayNow as your payment method in step 5 above.

  2. Save or screenshot the QR code to your device's gallery.

  3. Log in to your Singapore bank's app.

  4. Find "Scan and Pay", typically located under the "PayNow" option.

  5. Find "Upload", and select the QR from your device's gallery.

  6. Verify the amount is correct, and approve the payment.

  7. Wait till the transaction is complete

  8. When complete, return to our Web Portal

  9. Wait till the top up is complete.

Do not quit your browser or shut down your device during this stage. You can switch between apps, but exiting or logging out of Terabite may cause the transaction to fail.

PayNow on a computer

  1. Select PayNow as your payment method in step 5 above.

  2. Log in to your Singapore bank's app on your phone.

  3. Find "Scan and Pay", typically located under the "PayNow" option.

  4. Scan the QR on your computer's screen.

  5. Verify the amount is correct, and approve the payment.

  6. Wait till the transaction is complete

  7. When complete, return to our Web Portal

  8. Wait till the top up is complete.

Debit/Credit Cards (Stripe)

We use the global payment service provider Stripe to process credit card payments, accepting cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and more.

The system is able to accept most cards from international banks, allowing those who are waiting to open a Singapore bank account to top up without any hassle.

All Visa and MasterCard transactions are subject to a 3.4% transaction fee which is clearly identified on our system during the payment process.
